With the constant noise of hustle culture, pressures from immigrant parents, and the rise of AI, intentionally slowing down is an act of rebellion. I picked up embroidery as an escape from perfectionism and ended up creating multiple DIY kits for others that celebrated my Vietnamese heritage, and now other Asian Diasporic cultures!
